Onward Search's client, a Content Studio, is seeking a Media Planner/Strategist to join the team for a temp-to-perm opportunity. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the role. 


  • Leading the media plan campaign strategy for mid-level CPG brand clients covering clearly defined briefs, audience targeting and communications plan across digital, print, social, OOH and experiential marketing.
  • Executing all aspects of media plan including research, planning, buying/ negotiation, trafficking and reporting to the client.
  • Working with a creative team on execution of media ensuring all is on-strategy and on-brand.
  • Supporting copywriting efforts in creating innovative marketing campaign strategies for client review and approval.
  • Review data and understand how to work with specific target demo's able to come in at a higher level outlining how content should be communicated, how copy and strategy align together, etc.
  • Making recommendations for campaign optimization based on gathered data.


  • 3-6 years of integrated Media Planning and Strategy experience.
  • Coming from a creative agency environment preferred.
  • Experience with digital, print, social, OOH and experiential marketing media buys, including paid social and organic media, SEO, display ads, Adwords, etc.
  • Experience with performance marketing, competitive analysis, as well as campaign analytics and reporting.
  • Must have proven experience managing media campaigns from inception, plan, optimization, etc.
  • Should be creative at heart with a background in content and copy.
  • Seeking an entrepreneurial mindset able to support and elevate the team in this realm.
  • Passion for technology, lifestyle and sports brands is ideal.
