Interaction Designer (EST)

Our client is looking to bring on a remote Interaction Designer for a 3+ month contracted position. The individual in this role will be working to modernize internal tools and will partner with product managers and engineers to design and improve internal web-based software, specifically a content management system used daily.

Day to Day:

• Work with the Content Platform product team on internally facing web-based tools
• Be a voice of the end user, advocating for solutions that deliver best user experience that take into account initial internal research
• Break down open-ended opportunities into actionable next steps
• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or prototypes
• Advocate for design centered changes, refinements and improvements and integrate user feedback into products

What you bring forth:

• 5+ years of design experience with a focus in interaction design
• Degree in human-computer interaction design, graphic design, communication arts, or related field
• Strong communication skills and ability to be assertive
• Portfolio that showcases recent examples demonstrating innovation and strong problem-solving skills
