Onward Search is looking for an Interactive Art Director / Designer to join our agency client, for a contract opportunity that starts in two weeks. Depending on performance, this role can extend to a full-time opportunity.


  • Collaborating with Art Director and Creative Director to determine visual style, messaging strategy, and conceptual direction.
  • Collaborating with copywriters to develop initial concepts and optimizing messaging presentation.
  • Coordinating closely with production and coding teams to ensure design follows best practices.
  • Working with account managers and planners to become knowledgeable about brand, client expectations, and project goals.
  • Producing design elements, assets, templates, graphics, etc.
  • Producing design elements based on established design direction, systems & style guides.


  • At least 5+ years of visual design experience.
  • Interactive design experience (major brands preferred).
  • Experience creating both visual and interactive concepts.
  • Expertise in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of design principles (typography, color, layout, etc.).
  • Experience designing based on qualitative research and results.
  • Technology B2B experience is preferred.
  • Auto B2C experience is preferred.
  • Keynote experience is a plus.
  • Video production, motion development experience is a plus.
  • HTML development experience is a plus.
  • Agency experience is a plus.
