Onward Search is looking for an Interactive Project Manager to join our Fortune 500 client in Alpharetta for a long-term onsite contract role! Benefits are available during the contract period.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages and coordinates interactive and web projects that impact corporate business strategies and performance
  • Oversees all aspects of projects and is responsible for their coordination and completion
  • Identifies and documents critical tasks to mitigate risks (e.g., requirement issues, etc.).
  • Manages Interactive Communications deliverables to and from cross-functional teams and sponsors to secure sign-off and enable next steps in the project lifecycle
  • Adjusts project plans and timelines as needed to reflect approved changes
  • Documents and communicates status to overall project team to ensure understanding of resolutions
  • Negotiates feasible and timely solutions (e.g., recommendations, etc.) to accommodate project needs
  • Assesses incoming defects to determine validity
  • Evaluates risk level of defects to prioritize timing of resolutions
  • Assigns valid defects to appropriate resources to ensure defects are repaired
  • Monitors progress of defects to keep project stakeholders informed
  • Performs quality assurance based on project requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Communications, Marketing, Business Communications, Journalism, or Business Communication major preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing large-scale web development projects
  • Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills and be comfortable interacting with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite is required
  • Experience with JIRA preferred
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification preferred
