Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for an Interactive/Motion Designer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in designing engaging visual experiences collaborating across a wide variety of teams to create compelling experiences for both users and partners
  • Contribute to the design and execution of interactive animations and graphics and the tools for creating them
  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver innovative and compelling tools for storytelling
  • Design and innovate on new mobile consumption formats
  • Design user workflows for content creators
  • Design and animate graphics for end-user-facing products
  • Create style frames, storyboards, and animatics

Musts:

  • 2-5 years of working experience in visual design, animation, and/or game development
  • Previous experience working as a motion graphics designer or visual designer
  • Bachelor’s degree in visual effects or motion media design
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Sketch
  • In-depth knowledge of design principles as related to branding and publishing
  • A positive, self-motivated person who’s able to take direction and work within a team
  • Ability to quickly draw or storyboard by hand is a plus
