Our client, a highly regarded financial technology company, is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join their team onsite for a long term contract role!
Internal Communication Specialist Responsibilities:
Leading all internal communications: ideating, strategizing, and making recommendations on how to have the biggest impact with all internal communication initiatives.
Engaging, informing and directing employees about the company's strategy and business priorities in a way that emphasizes the company’s customer centric values.
Serving as the communications expert/hub - prioritizing communications by vehicle, content, timing and business impact.
Utilizing tools to study your audience, adjusting your approach in order to maximize efficacy of all internal communications.
Producing high-quality written content (email/portal banners, infographics, etc…).
Establishing and maintaining internal portal content including written, visual and user interaction elements with the ultimate goal to drive employee engagement to the site, enhancing based on feedback.
Building strong relationships with HR, Internal Comms and executive leadership to communicate initiatives an ensure a unified approach across all leaders in the organization.
Consistently reinforcing company brand, culture and the transformational journey that is currently underway within the organization.
Participating in meetings, conversations and brainstorm sessions--offering communication recommendations for upcoming HR initiatives and other company-wide roll outs.
Internal Communications Specialist Requirements:
BA degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, psychology or another related field.
Prior work experience managing all internal communications, driving engagement and participation from the population.
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Prior experience working with Slack, or a similar internal communications tool.
Demonstrated skills within leadership/problem-solving.
Ability to learn concepts quickly and reiterate in a voice that is comprehensible to a lay audience.
Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a huge plus!
