Java Developer

Financial firm seeking a Java Developer in UNION COUNTY New Jersey for an 18 month+ contract engagement (likelihood to extend/go perm)

This team is composed of Full Stack Developers (the platform is open architecture with Full Stack including: SQL Server, MicroStrategy, Tableau/SSRS, Angular, ETL - Talend, Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Hadoop)

Must Haves:

• Minimum of 8+ years of hands on Java development and implementation experience (Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular)
• Experience with performance tuning and designing high performance applications involving huge data processing
• 8+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise level information technology solutions
• 7+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
• 7+ years of experience with databases preferably SQL server – will also accept Oracle, DB2 or Teradata
• 3+ years of Agile experience

Bonus:

• Financial Services experience within a Risk focused space
• Experience with Hadoop

Day to Day:

• Design/develop/deploy Java based solutions within the Enterprise Risk domain
• Provide technology design, development and support for Risk and Regulatory platform capabilities, functions and processes
• Design and implement highly distributed, scalable processes and Data Enrichments using SQL and delivery techniques using Java
