Onward Search is hiring a Jr. Oracle Database Developer on a long-term contract basis with a government client located in downtown, Atlanta.

Project Scope:

  • MUST be able to work a W2 contract role
  • Must be local to Atlanta. Remote Work Permitted: Due to COVID-19, the client has agreed to allow the selected candidate to work remotely for the time being. However, the selected candidate must be available to report onsite as directed by the client.
  • This is a full-time (40-hours a week) opportunity.
  • Benefits are available through Onward Search throughout the life of the engagement.

Job Summary:

  • Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software.
  • Researches and analyzes program or systems problems and develops program documentation.
  • Translates business requirements into development activities in secure and maintainable code.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science or management information systems
  • 4 years’ minimum of related experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle Database Development using PL/SQL and SQL (Required 4 Years)
  • Proven working experience in the software development life cycle (Required 4 Years)
  • Proven working experience with ETL, Data Analysis, Logical and Physical Database (Required 4 Years)
  • Working experience with business requirement documents, functional design and testing documents (Required 4 Years)
  • Proven ability to writing stored procedures, Functions and packages as per the business logic (Required 3 Years)
