Our client, a Digital Entertainment Company, is seeking a Junior Product Manager for a freelance opportunity.
You will report to the Director of Product Management and be responsible for:
Play a key role in bringing new products to market, as well as continuing to develop innovative features on emerging technologies including the re-building web experiences on modern technologies, including React JS for web and HTML5 for video playback across a variety of device types.
Assist to define the product roadmap, respond to customer feedback, marketplace trends and user research.
Assist to define product goals, KPIs, and requirements in an agile environment by understanding and prioritizing end-user and business stakeholder needs.
Create user stories, wireframes and test cases to inform architecture, product development, and QA.
Assist to manage the product backlog and roadmap as well as the priorities of engineering, internal partners, third-party vendors, design and marketing to deliver effective and timely solutions while balancing technical dependencies, resourcing, and other constraints.
Communicate with key stakeholders on marketing, analytics, and executive levels
Analyze product performance and customer feedback.
Prioritize bug fixes and new features that respond to customer needs and market opportunities, Iterate continuously on feature and functional enhancements.
Collaborate with Marketing to drive SEO as a strategic priority.
Coordinate with Growth Marketing team to understand consumer behavior and preferences in order to improve existing products and features that drive higher engagement.
Use market and customer research, industry trends / best practices, and discovery with partners to conceptualize and develop new product ideas.
3-5 years of Product Management experience
Strong understanding of web technologies and consumer internet experiences
Experience using common solutions for web analytics and optimization, such as Adobe Analytics, Tealium, and Optimizely
Experience building out and maintaining SEO capabilities
Experience working in an Agile environment including defining and documenting product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Strong ability to solve problems and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to drive and influence business decisions based on data and metrics
A passion for TV and online video
A drive to create amazing consumer products and a proven track record of developing, launching, and managing successful digital products
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to excel in an execution-focused, fast-paced environment balancing multiple projects and priorities, including short-term goals and long-term vision
Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter
Strategic mindset coupled with keen attention to detail
Seeking a self-starter who can work with multiple disparate teams to execute on strategic and tactical company goals.
Must be an excellent communicator, have strong organizational skills and be comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities across multiple work-streams.
