Onward Search's client, a lifestyle company, seeks a Copywriter to join their team for a temp-to-hire assignment that starts in July. You'll report to the Copy Lead of the department and work with an integrated in-house marketing team on the writing of marketing copy and content. You will produce copy that is clear and consistent with the voice of our client's various products. You will be tasked with the concept, writing, editing, and proofreading of copy for fully integrated campaigns across print, digital, email, and social. You will be writing both long and shot-form copy.

Skills and Requirements:


  • 2+ Years experience writing copy for in-house marketing teams and/ or agencies.
  • Prefer candidates who have written for lifestyle brands and are able to follow an established tone.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have excellent proofreading copy/ editing skills.
  • It's a plus if you have journalism experience, but not a requirement.
  • Must be proficient in AP Style.
  • Must demonstrate a wide range of writing styles and topics.
  • Must love storytelling and know the latest trends in retail, fashion, beauty, pop culture and media.
