One of our clients with a global brand and eCommerce products is looking for a full time Junior Copywriter for a hybrid role in Connecticut! This is a great opportunity for someone that loves the digital / eCommerce space, and would like to truly grow their career with a proven company for years to come. And there is an existing team with great experience that you will be able to learn from and contribute within!

This role has a great salary and also up to 10% annual bonus based on company performance. And the interview process will be quick, with one video interview and if that goes well, one final group interview on-site at the office.

Junior Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • You will write for creative / marketing materials to promote shopping clubs and one-off purchases of a diverse suite of products and services via catalogs, email campaigns, online banners/ads, organic & paid social and more
  • You will support the Creative and Marketing departments in writing persuasive copy to recruit new customers via both online & offline channels
  • You will help to write and maintain accurate and engaging marketing copy for a range of 500+ products, primarily for online and eCommerce (product pages, product experience notes, etc.)
  • You will write regular copy updates for multiple partner brands’ web pages (including seasonal products, promotional banners, landing pages, etc.)

Junior Copywriter Requirements:

  • Should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant writing experience (or both)
  • Must be proficient persuasive copywriting between brand voice and the intended audiences
  • Must be able to show flexibly and prioritize their workload to hit tight copy deadlines
  • Communicate proactively and transparently with team members
  • eCommerce experience a plus, but not required
