Onward Search has a new exciting opportunity with one of our big beauty clients. The opportunity is for a Junior Digital Designer that can start as soon as possible onsite at our client’s office in New York, NY. An ideal candidate should have impeccable digital design skills, a strong eye for detail, and an intuitive sense for what good design looks like. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of digital design work, including banners, email, social media, and .com ads.
  • Ensure that all design work aligns to the brand and personality.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team.
  • Use your creative flair to go beyond the requirements of the brief.
  • Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
  • Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field.
  • Other responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field major plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Digital Design in the beauty industry.
  • Experience with creating digital mediums (emails, social media, banners, .com ads).
  • Prior experience with campaign launching.
  • Ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Concepting skills preferred but not necessary.
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Strong organization skills, and ability to plan, adapt and manage your time effectively.
