Onward Search's client, a very well-known nonprofit organization, is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with a solid understanding of branding and campaign concepting to join their expanding team for a permanent position in New York City. This role will begin immediately following the interview process.


  • Designing and executing creative assets for our client's brand and their partnerships to drive awareness of the cause.
  • Develop engaging visual creative content for social media assets including static assets, as well as, creating and editing videos.
  • Design and build creative presentations to demonstrate our work to partners.
  • Develop mock-ups and design iterations for the marketing team to utilize in new partnership pitches.
  • Partner with the creative and strategy team to conceptualize new pitch and creative ideas for clients.
  • Conceptualize and design branded programs across design assets, brand tone of voice, etc.
  • Partner with internal and external clients for driving project execution, including exchanging information, collecting work and putting into presentations.
  • Leverage your communication skills to share your creative ideas and relay pertinent project information to your team.
  • Produce work and make decisions on your own with little oversight or need for correction.
  • Other tasks may apply.


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant design study or fine arts.
  • 1-2 years of 360 design experience in-house or agency and across a range of projects from conceptual campaigns, product, packaging, and branding.
  • Mastery of Adobe CS - Photoshop and Illustrator are mandatory After Effects and Premier are a bonus!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Mac and ideally Salesforce.
  • Some experience in video production and editing.
  • Bonus if you've worked with Wordpress for site projects.
  • You have an understanding of how to use main social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snap, Twitter, etc.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work and handle multiple projects at a time.
