Onward Search is hiring a Graphic Designer for an International Client with offices in North Charlotte.

Job Summary:

This opportunity is long-term, contract to perm position and fit for a Graphic Designer who is productive and detail-oriented. Major responsibilities of the position include: Design/edit, layout, and formatting of materials for print and digital campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take part in the creation and implementation of graphic and digital designs that translate brand messages by taking part in the development of print and digital marketing, advertising, and other communications for their clients as needed
  • Work hands-on to design, develop and produce inspiring print materials and digital collateral, including: banner ads, digital ads, social media posts, brand books, brochures, flyers, advertisements, and posters as well as design mock ups for clients as needed?

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Art preferred
  • Min. 2+ years progressive experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Previous Agency experience is a plus!
  • Proficient with industry-standard graphic design software to include: Adobe Creative Suite programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects, MS Word & Excel
  • Skilled with graphics methods from concept to a finished product
  • A keen eye for layout, design and color
  • A strong understanding of typography
  • Ability to provide customer service, work independently and in a team environment; to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients both orally and in writing
  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
  • Ability to coordinate graphic design projects; to understand and to interpret information in a visual manner; to operate computer graphic systems and software
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, proofreading, document formatting and editing is mandatory
  • Ability to work across divisions and with creative teams and agencies to bring visions to life!
  • Portfolio must include digital examples such as: banner ads, digital ads, social media posts
