Our client, an auto-based start-up, is seeking a Jr Designer to join the team.

Report to the Director of Marketing, and be responsible for:

  • Think outside the box to create innovative and highly shareable content that people can't help but stop to watch & share/like/comment on in their social feeds
  • Primarily responsible for graphic design creation and
  • Assist with other marketing activities as needed, along with attending company meetings around creative initiatives around new app launch


  • BS/BA Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business or a similar related field
  • 2-4 years of experience working on graphic design projects millennial-focused brands/companies a plus
  • Portfolio showcasing e-commerce banners, web advertisements, email marketing, social media ads across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube and retargeting projects
  • Strong in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign with a clean eye for design and desire to stay “on-trend”
  • Strong understanding of social media and a positive interest in the social media landscape
  • A strong understanding of photography and/video as well as Wordpress/blogging is a plus
  • A positive, can-do attitude that works well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • You "get" the importance of mastering imagery choice on social, especially Instagram
  • Being small team, being resourceful with the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome challenges and fulfill creative visions is key
  • Seeking eager designer who is willing to learn and who wants to be involved with a tech startup
  • Bonus point if you have an interest in cars


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
