Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Inventory Analyst with our client, a renowned computer and mobile accessories company. As an Inventory Analyst. You’ll be responsible for assisting with preparation inventory valuation requirements including inventory balance trends and reserves in compliance with SOX.

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity located in the Easy Bay that kicks-off ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Support with preparation of inventory schedules, trend analysis, assessment on inventory risk, reconciliations, journal entries and tie-outs
  • Support team and external auditor requests as needed, including preparation of work papers, analysis of data, and information gathering
  • Supports company compliance with SOX and other requirements
  • Support for other ad-hoc finance projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance or related field
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as an Inventory Analyst or similar
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from research and report on findings
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Previous experience in accounting/finance role
  • Experience with Oracle, Essbase, and Hyperion
