Onward Search NYC is hiring a Junior Marketing Designer on a temp to perm basis. The ideal candidate will have strong typography, and a versatile skill-set across marketing design, presentations, branding, logo, social media campaigns and collateral.

Communication is a big part of the job, so the junior designer must feel confident enough to contribute to the entire creative process. Keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends and "influencers" on social media is also key!


  • Helping to drive marketing campaigns, an understanding of typography, layout and color - in addition to Creative Suite and ideally, Sketch skills.
  • Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
  • Producing attractive and effective designs for one-pagers, presentation decks, social media assets, display ads, data visualizations and signage

​Skills Required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years experience as a graphic or marketing designer; start up experience a major plus
  • Understanding of typography, layout
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Good organizational skills
