Our client, a high tech security company, located in Wallingford, Connecticut is looking for Jr. Software Developers for web services applications to join their team on a contract basis.

In this role, you will build scalable platforms and services to expand product offerings.


  • Work on full-stack and the capability both the frontend and backend components of the system.
  • Develope with or in environments supporting these technologies: Java, Ember, Docker, MySQL, Ubuntu Linux, Git, Stash.
  • Available to start October 1st - December 31st with possible extension.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
  • 1-5 years developing applications for web services or applications.
  • Proficiency in (one or more): Java, C++, Objective-C, Ruby, Python, HTML 5, CSS and JavaScript Preferred Qualifications.
  • Passion for building new products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Solid coding practices including sound design, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration/Deployment.
  • Sharp analytical abilities, proven design skills, excellent communication skills.
  • Experience using Amazon Web Services desirable.
  • A self-starter with a high level of initiative balanced with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • A thirst for knowledge and continuous improvement.
