Lead Producer- Video Game Publishing

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee publishing production team supporting external developers
  • Act as primary contact with stakeholders and external teams
  • Create timelines for internal and external teams, evaluating schedules with executive management and keep things on schedule while prioritizing tasks, departmental inter dependencies
  • Manage any issues or risks that develop in the process
  • Work with publishing leadership in establishing and implementing product roadmap monitoring product evaluation checkpoints
  • Collaborate to put together and manage related budget and cost forecast for publishing projects.
  • Responsible for all publishing project deliverables including milestone review, external build creation including marketing/PR needs
  • Provide solutions to production issues to resolve the resulting schedule, cost, and scope conflicts
  • Manage cross team communication including at the executive level; both internally and externally

Qualifications:

  • PM background, including Scrum, Kanban, and traditional waterfall methodologies and tools, with ability to assign priority based on experience
  • Detail oriented while thriving in high stress situations
  • At least 5 years production experience including 2+ years as Senior or Lead Producer.
  • Ability to lead and implement producer’s best practices, tools and techniques for team members
  • Working knowledge of game dev from start to finish including proven background with first party submission requirements and ability to move through milestones and set timelines accordingly
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must have shipped 2 games w/ production credit
  • Previous experience working with multiple projects simultaneously

Preference to applicants with:

  • UE4
  • Plays or has worked on First Person Shooter
  • Proven ability of tackling challenging projects
  • Experience in full software development lifecycle of shipping a game
  • Positive, problem solving mindset
