Our client, an Entertainment company is seeking an Animation Producer for a contract position that can go full-time.

The role of Producer means ownership of the complete production value chain from studio bid(s) to Masterfile delivery. Entertainment must always be aligned with the Global Content Strategy and in support of the Brand values. Producers work closely with Creative Development and Executive Producers to bring our shows to life. Producers will manage the production process and be TLG’s representative to all 3rd party production partners, responsible for schedules, budgets and final delivery of all Entertainment Content.

This particular role will focus on animated children’s content, including both our homegrown IP as well as Licensed IPs. Ability to work within the organization as well as with external production companies, IP partners, and broadcast partners across multiple countries is critical. We are a small team and require versatility in tasks and responsibilities. The role demands a Producer who is focused, organized, and thrives on the budgeting, and scheduling.

The Entertainment team is responsible for all creative development and production for all audience facing entertainment: Series, Specials, Theatrical, and additional content for social media and owned channels (trailers, characters spotlights, etc). The team is comprised of creative and production personnel that work with internal and external stakeholders to develop best in class, engaging content that creates brand affinity.

Must haves:

  • 3-5 years experience in TV or film industry
  • Experience in animated and/or children’s television or features
  • Experience in Production and Post is ideal, but at least one is required
  • Familiarity with film/TV budgets and scheduling
  • Acts independently
  • Other considerations include: potential travel, early or late calls based on global team needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive the production value chain – EPC’s production responsible for scheduling, budget administration and delivery of Entertainment Content Master files
  • Responsible for successfully executing the bidding process in regard to Studio Award.
  • Supervise partner studios and production partners while managing their relationship back into The Group
  • Establish and manage production processes from story summit through final wrap
  • Production vetting for new content types – working in partnership with Entertainment Development, help define “new ways of Production” for new content types (live action, Public Performance, VR, etc.)
