Our client is on the hunt for an AV Project Coordinator to join the AE team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AV team and IT team on daily operational tasks, along with working with the Deployment Engineering and IT Teams, coordinating efforts and establishing process for various departments
  • Coordinating new builds for AV installs both locally and globally to improve our AV project management workflow with an emphasis on budget tracking and contracts
  • Develop process for vendor management in regards to budget, billing, contracts, and audits
  • Escalate issues
  • Document business and technical requirements to identify and execute efficiencies
  • Coordinate and set meetings with colleagues and coworkers - customer outreach
  • Manage vendor interactions and expectations in regards to project needs
  • Attend weekly build Meetings and speak to A/V deliverables covering status updates, delivery timelines, budgets etc.

Musts:

  • 3+ years of customer support experience in a technical and/or start-up environment
  • An IT background is a huge plus and technical troubleshooting without existing documentation
  • Experience in an event production environment, and a knowledge of the challenges and problem-solving needs within it
  • Working experience with customer service software like Jira, Zendesk, or comparable platforms
  • A background in building (not just following) technical processes documentation
  • Excellent effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident with all components of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and all components of Google Docs suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
  • Experience with one or more of the following video-conferencing applications — Google Hangouts, BlueJeans, Zoom, etc.
