Our client, a Creative Agency, is seeking a freelance Integrated Executive Producer for a project.

You will report to the Chief Production Officer and be responsible for:

  • Work side-by-side with the Account Directors to manage all integrated teams and maintain seamless workflows of nationwide integrated campaign consisting of audio, video, print, OOH, paid media, websites, and other initiatives and assets
  • Lead in the production teams making assets including video, audio and print content for multi-channel marketing
  • Oversight of producers and project managers across all departments
  • Oversight and management of recruitment, hiring and terminations on assigned account for staff, freelance and contractor engagements
  • Make strategic decisions to allocate and approve budgets for new hires, promotions, compensation and rate changes in coordination with Accounting
  • Ongoing administrative management (timecards, POs, time off) in oversight coordination with Producers and Project Managers who own specific portions of the work
  • Executive level oversight of celebrity and influencer recruitment; work with project teams to engage and manage outside talent booker resources
  • Contribute to definition of team structure and project scope, estimate and write scope of work and technical specifications, work with Executive Integrated Producer and Chief Production Officer in the creation of project specifications and time plans in partnership Group Account Director and Accounting
  • Communicate production contingencies, timetables and capabilities to account management team and manage their needs and expectations
  • Responsible for management of project budgets and expenditures to balance project needs and costs
  • Assists in the oversight, creation and maintenance of all project backup, status reports, PO’s, estimates, schedules, change orders, technical and production specs, preproduction books and any other associated backup
  • Track utilization of tools and paid media and collaborate with Accounting to organize a payment schedule
  • Manage vendors and talent on assigned projects, maintaining communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure positive workflow
  • Drive projects to final stages of completion by keeping the team both on track and highly motivated
  • Project quality assurance - testing and review of output, reviewing outputted deliverables against scope; determining project risk on an ongoing basis, and escalating issues as needed
  • Monitor all internal and external costs for assigned project by reviewing the burn report regularly
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving monthly invoicing information (accuracy, mark up, allocation)
  • Approve CAPS timesheets, Invoices, Harvest timesheets as required, in cooperation and oversight of departmental Project Managers
  • Evaluate best team makeup for assigned projects
  • Champion internal systems for higher productivity working
  • Initiates and leads all appropriate project meetings

Musts:

  • 15 years of experience in such fields as digital, broadcast and interactive production, project and account management, community organizing, and campaign management in an agency environment
  • Well versed in producing campaigns and assets across content platform spaces including content, website dev, broadcast (short and long-form video), experiential, print, social, etc.
  • Experience leading project teams and excel at managing complex projects and the client experience
  • Successful EP is a great communicator, motivator, go-getter, and detailed project manager with an innate ability to “get things done” and be solutions-oriented
  • They are a source of steady leadership, responsive to all, and can maintain a manageable pace of work overall and can keep themselves and the team calm if and when emergencies arise
  • They address those emergencies with immediacy and efficiency
  • They build resilient and respectful relationships with company leadership, internal departments, and clients
  • Client-facing experience, able to advise teams and clients on best practices, scope and pricing, and sometimes present concepts and work
