Onward Search is seeking a skilled TECHNICAL/DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER with integrated knowledge of technically challenging projects that include e-commerce, websites and systems integration. This role is temporary averaging 20-40 hours a week depending and requires exceptional communication skills internally as well as with the clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years eCommerce, website and systems integration Project Management Experience
  • Experience working with developers, designers, QA testers, research, etc.
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a Client Services model
  • Ability to work in a multi-vendor environment (3rd party design team with internal development team)
  • Strong multi-tasker that can work on multiple projects
  • Experience managing projects with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work efficiently and independently with calm demeanor
  • Proven experience working with varying personalities
  • Must be able to respect the chain of command within an organization, both internally and externally

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree or relevant certifications (eg: Agile Certification, PMI Certification etc.) is/are a plus
  • Strong work ethic with solid understanding of chain of command and respecting client's systems
  • Come from competitive, team oriented environments that showcases team work

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the internal project team and drive the project from start to completion
  • Function as the day-to-day point person with the Client
  • Attend internal status meetings
  • Lead Weekly Client Status meetings
  • Generate weekly status reports
  • Track and manage all deliverables using document management system
  • Manage and Adhere to overall project budget
  • Risk Management - Communicate, mitigate and appropriately escalate all project risks
