Lead Project Manager – Localization/Design

Our client, a major entertainment studio, is looking for a Lead Project Manager to join the Localization Ops Design team.
Responsibilities:
Running the day-to-day operations of the Localization Design team
Keep projects on target by motivating teammates, partners, and stakeholders amid frequently shifting timelines; intuitively/ instinctively anticipate and avoid most barriers without dwelling on stumbles; navigate aggressive deadlines and ambitious expectations without saying “no,†“we can’t†or over-committing; simplify complex workflows and processes; influence positive outcomes as a creative champion and advocate; genuinely enjoy making magic
Implement high-level workflow solutions and processes to manage Static Artwork and Motion Graphics localization
Oversee the rapid expansion of global creative deliverable our production pipeline
Run a high-volume, fast-paced International Creative business
Assigning creative projects to designers and agencies
Managing schedules and ensuring on-time deliveries
Updating stakeholders on project status, risks, and health
Tracking and reporting KPIs to managers and executives (75%)
Leading and attending meetings with various stakeholders
Enforcing Localization Design timelines and standards (15%)
Developing and documenting workflow efficiencies
Additional duties and projects as assigned (10%)
Musts:
7+ years of experience in managing creative production / project management
2-3 years of experience in a senior or team lead role in a high-volume environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple executive priorities simultaneously
Must have experience working with multiple vendors
Ability to create and deliver presentations that effectively communicate solutions and open items for partners and leadership
Extremely meticulous attention to detail
Highly effective and collaborative communicator that can lead through influence rather than by hierarchy
A positive outlook when the going gets tough

Highly collaborative spirit
Exceptional organizational skills
The ideal candidate will be a highly effective and experienced creative management professional who can rapidly assess, prioritize, and assign–and often re-assign–projects to external creative agencies or “in-house†designers based on urgency, timing, and complexity
Pluses:
Project Management Certification, preferably in the design and technology fields
An understanding of international design trends
Advanced Graphic Design expertise in Motion Graphics, Branding, Typography, and Motion Graphics experience
Knowledge of video editing software
A degree in Design or Creative Operations would be preferred here or equivalent years of experience.
Has a portfolio of past projects
