Onward Search is seeking a Web Content Manager / Copy Editor to help a non-profit client downtown. The role is 20-35 hours a week working with several teams within the organization to affirm that the content presented follows company standards and guidelines and stays within their voice. Additionally, this role oversees the editorial calendar and will help source content.

At least 2-3 days a week will need to be onsite, working directly with staff directly, and could work remotely for additional needs (there could be weeks of 35-40 hrs required, but flexibility with this is vital for this role). Will also need to step in and edit content as well as clearing out old content. Main role here is to keep the website updated with fresh, informative, and appealing content.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in a Content Management role working with various departments and levels of staff as well as outside resources.
  • Solid content editing skills for web/blogs etc.
  • Some writing skills needed.
  • Relatable and amiable working with others.
  • Able to follow guidelines and standards.
