Onward Search is on the hunt for a Marketing Specialist for our corporate client. This is a 6 month contract opportunity that could go full-time.

You'll work with the Marketing Manager on the team and be responsible for creating, updating, and distributing collateral material for internal clients and sales teams to improve the overall customer experience of our client.


  • Under tight deadlines, work with business units and appropriate product owners to make updates to existing sales collateral
  • Responsible for the updating, distribution and implementation of marketing collateral. Make recommendations to create or eliminate existing sales tools.
  • Work with copywriters to align sales collateral with established messaging architectures
  • Interview stakeholders about their line of business to identify their needs throughout the sales process
  • Develop a sales material strategy that aligns with the stakeholder’s goals
  • Manage entire review and approval process with Legal and Compliance as well as the design/layout process with creative services
  • Perform regular marketing competitive analysis for continual collateral improvement
  • Support the sales team with one-off and long-term requests and projects
  • Formalize operational processes and best practices to gain efficiencies and improve team’s effectiveness


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a corporate marketing environment.
  • Prefer candidates who have some Ad Agency experience.
  • Must have exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Must be an excellent communicator.
  • Must have strong project management skills and a be able to work on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and be an expert in PowerPoint.




  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
