Our national healthcare client is seeking a COPY EDITOR who has worked in a UX Web content position before. This role requires a strong knowledge of UX/UI industry standards, practices and requirements in order to be successful. Projects range from editorial documents, updating content for task instructions, interface labels, intro copy, messaging and legalese. Also this role enters content updates directly to a CMS and collaborates closely with UX content writers, project managers, agile product owners, CMS architects, content entry specialists, developers, and testers.


  • Establish editorial documents based on comps and input from team members
  • Copy edit and proof new or updated content for variety of projects
  • Enter content into a CMS
  • Manage tasks and deliverables as they come
  • Integrate company style/brand and best practices into content
  • Excellent use of grammar, punctuation, and language
  • Support multiple projects and teams simultaneously


  • 5+ years of experience copy editing content for various media (web, mobile, email, etc) adhering to requirements for each format
  • Able to manage productive independence as well as effectively support fellow content teammates and collaborate with project partners
  • Proven copy edit craftsmanship that effectively incorporates user, business, technical, editorial, brand, legal, accessibility and UI/UX digital industry standards, practices and requirements
  • Technical editing skills to support writers in converting complicated processes into clear, simple directions for non-technical users
  • MS Office including SharePoint
  • Familiar with Mac and CMS systems
  • Basic understanding of responsive design
  • Familiar with creating marketing content
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Incredible attention to detail


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
