Our client, a boutique social media agency, is looking for a Creative Director to execute and oversee creative for clients' paid social media needs. The Creative Director will oversee a Sr. Graphic Designer, Creative Content Coordinator, and creative vendors to bring content to life for clients. The details of this role include scheduling, pre-production, production, post- production, and working directly with the Social Media/Strategy Directors on creating content calendars and social strategy.
This position will report directly to the CEO and will work in tandem with the Social Media/Strategy team and the Project Management team and cross-departmentally to ensure successful creation of strategic content.
Implementing content strategies set forth by the Strategy team
Delivering high quality content from conception to production (storytelling)
Working with a range of digital formats
Thinking about user experience and usability, accessibility, writing for the web, and meeting user needs with content
Partnering with other teams, such as Paid Media to create content for specific avenues (Call to Action posts)
Stakeholder management and relationship building - internally and externally
Driving reach, reputation and revenue with elevated, high-performing content
Repurposing existing brand provided content, in certain situations, by adding addition graphics and copy
People management - support recruit, supervise, train and mentor new team members
Maximizing efforts on creative vision, budget tracking and resource allocation
Organize all original content according to established content management guidelines
Catalogue all content and artwork created by agency on behalf of clients [published and unpublished]
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a content production role either brand or agency side
Working knowledge of every major social network and awareness or emerging platforms.
Strong strategic knowledge of what types of content formats work best in paid social
Strong Adobe Creative Suite abilities a must
Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Sense of innovation and willingness to push the envelope
Culture savvy in the fields of fashion, beauty, art, tech, and media
Experience styling and conceiving visual storylines for clients in fashion, beauty, and tech industries
Ability to quickly understand and identify what works versus what doesn’t and adapt accordingly
Experience with professional lighting for photography both in studio and on-location
Ability to work well under strict deadlines while juggling multiple projects
Strong interpersonal communication skills; positive attitude
Superior time-management skills
Strong passion for your work
Photography and videography skills a plus
Video editing and motion graphics experience a plus
