Onward Search is on the hunt for a Graphic Designer to join our retail client for a temp-to-hire opportunity that starts within 2-4 weeks.

You will work with a small design team, and be responsible for designing for multiple channels including print, digital/ social, outdoor, and in-store. You will take designs from concept-final mechanical.

This is primarily a design position, but production will be involved.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Design in-store collateral, signage, identity, and other print creative
  • Create package designs for our client's product and line extensions
  • Art Direction and/ or help with photoshoots
  • Work within established style guides and ensure brand continuity across all marketing channels

We are seeking Graphic Designers who meet the following requirements:

  • 3-7 years experience working for design studios and/ or ad agencies in a design function
  • Must be able to concept, design, and handle your own production, but production is not the main function of this job
  • Must have excellent brand identity design skills and a strong design perspective
  • Must have strong typography skills and layout skills
  • Must be able to design for digital including web, social, and media
  • Must be proficient in Adobe CS - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • It's a plus if you've got experience designing graphics for social and can edit - though not a requirement
  • Ideal candidates are following the latest design trends in digital/ social and have strong conceptual ability


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
