Our client, a Marketing Design Agency, is seeking an Integrated B2B Designer to join their team.

Report to the Design Director and be responsible for:

  • Help create material for clients for their internal teams to use to market for their services, align internal teams, or for the purpose of conferences and other initiatives
  • Working with well-defined design aesthetic and tone of voice and have clear design guidelines but having a lot of decision making that goes into image selection, creating typography that's appropriate, hierarchy, info graphics, organization of messaging, understanding what is appropriate for the audience
  • While B2B is often times a little more constrained in terms of creative exploration, it does require problem solving and working with restraint within the given guidelines and brief
  • Very strong and thought through Strategy and a creative platform where needed, inform the work
  • A large portion of the work will be print based with occasional digital components like emails, landing pages, and decks
  • If there is extensive screen based design required (app, website etc)- a UI designer/ UX team will be part of the project
  • Collaborate with the writer and Art Director counterpart on the account, the Strategist and sometimes the presentation designer
  • At times help own marketing materials such as newsletter, new biz decks, RFPs, collateral, printed case studies etc.


  • 3-5 years experience in house, in an agency or at an academic institution
  • Must possess a love for, and strong understand of editorial design working within grid systems, type hierarchy, selection
  • An understanding and ability to create infographics, icons and graphics for charts
  • Adobe Creative Suite-  Illustrator (vector manipulation), Indesign (creating multiple page collateral), Photoshop (image manipulation)
  • An understanding of printing techniques will be helpful
  • Some knowledge of and interest in screen based design will be helpful
  • Highly refined design skills, with an awareness, understanding and interest in contemporary design trends
  • Agility and being a quick learner 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment working long hours when need be
  • Team-player who is comfortable with presenting concepts, including logos
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with all departments in agency


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
