Our client, a Cosmetics Company, is seeking a Packaging Development Manager to join their team.

You will report to the Director of Packaging Development and work very closely with the Founder/CEO.


  • Assist in the exploration, creation, management and execution of primary and secondary beauty packaging for new product launches and rebranding
  • Manage a wide variety of packaging vendors to ensure delivery is on-time, per specifications and on-budget
  • Explore new vendor partnerships and opportunities based on brand’s goals
  • Seek innovative and cutting edge packaging concepts
  • Experience with promotional items such as bags, brushes, candles, and a wide variety of giftables
  • Attend packaging trade shows and must be willing to travel
  • Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to ensure packaging is on-brand and within the company vision
  • Stay on top of varying stages of approvals internally and externally
  • Attend weekly meetings to cover new product launches and explorations on packaging concepts


  • 5-7 years of experience in the cosmetics/beauty industry, preferably in a packaging and promotional goods development role
  • Must be proficient in packaging materials, vendors and trends to be able to speak to all three, knowing how to identify opportunities
  • Experience in project management software
  • Entrepreneurial mentality, creativity and initiative in solving problems
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to manage multiple moving projects at once
  • Performance-oriented work ethic with the hunger to succeed in a challenging, fast-paced environment


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
