Our client, a publishing company, is seeking a Sr. Designer for a contract to hire role

This person will report to the Creative Director and be responsible for:

  • Design and production of materials that promote brand
  • Work on assets such as but not limited too: packaging, social media assets, lookbooks, catalogs, email blitzes
  • Maintain day to day liaison with the rest of marketing and production department to determine project timelines, resources and workflow
  • Be willing to explore new designs, illustrations, photography as well as printing techniques that are in line with the brand
  • 40% product and packaging design, 20% digital marketing design, 20% production, 20% admin
  • Experience overseeing a team of designers


  • 5 years design background
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Strong conceptual and layout skills, eye for typography and color
  • Detail-Oriented and assertive with getting tasks accomplished
  • Good communication, written and verbal skills
  • Understanding of latest social media trends
  • Publishing/Production Agency background preferred


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
