Our client, a publishing company, is seeking a Sr. Marketing Designer for a freelance hire

This person will report to the VP Marketing and be responsible for:

  • Concept, create and execute on-brand for all company marketing materials for both print and digital
  • Working on but not exclusively; catalogs, sales presentations, direct mail, tradeshow giveaways, product photography and email blitzes
  • Design and execute seasonal website launches, web banners and general web design
  • Collaborate with Director of E-Commerce, Sales team and VP Marketing in all day to day activities
  • Oversee product photo shoots for catalog
  • Explore new design, illustration, photography as well as printing techniques
  • Manage all press checks of marketing materials to ensure successful print runs
  • Conduct quality control for all catalogs to ensure successful production

Required:

  • 4 years of graphic design and web production experience and marketing
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of typography, print and packaging design, paper and printing process, direct mail design and web user experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well organized and able to handle multiple projects and tasks at same time
  • Publishing/Production Agency background preferred
