Our client, a top financial company in Downtown LA is looking for a Sr. Visual Designer for a 6+ month opportunity. This person needs to have corporate design experience. They are looking for candidates with strong Digital or Visual design skills and experience. They need to be able to do visual design mock-ups for web and mobile properties. They need to know Adobe Creative Suite, Prototyping tools such as Invision and Axure as well as Sketch.

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

  • Need to have experience collaborating with other user experience roles such as information architects, writers and creative leads
  • Experience working with business folks and prototyping skills, are a bonus but not required
  • Have a sense of how to appropriately incorporate branding elements into their design work
  • UI technical skills are not required, and authoring is minimal
  • Role is focused on visual design (with knowledge of CMS as a plus)
  • Doesn’t require UX skills - focused on visual execution: utilizing apps like Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders; strong grammar and syntax skills; strong presentation skills; strong inter-personal skills
  • Demonstrates strong detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment; initiative to work and learn independently and proactively contribute to department goals; and ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization
  • Requires 4-6 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
