Outsource Game Artist (AAA PC)

Our client is seeking an exceptionally skilled Outsource Artist to join their PC game team. This candidate will work with the production team to create, manage, and track art outsource schedules and will provide feedback and direction, both artistic and technical, to our outsource partners.

Day To Day:

• Manage the asset creation with external team
• Organize briefs, give artistic and technical feedback
• Oversee content made by the external outsourcing art team
• Must have detailed management assets across multiple disciplines that include characters, concept, world, 2D assets
• Must have highly organized with files and art assets in mass volume
• Work with all levels of artists to understand the high-level quality needed
• Provide feedback and suggestions
• Give specific direction in an artist-minded way
• Good communication, provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

• 4+ years professional experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Art or related field
• At least 1 shipped AAA
• 3D modeling, sculpting (Zbrush), UVs, Retopology, Texturing (Substance Painter/Photoshop)
• Game engine experience
• Works effectively across several game development disciplines
• Knowledgeable about game industry trends and art styles
• Portfolio with examples of art briefs and art feedback. Portfolio demonstrating strong game art creation and experience with game art pipeline, process
