Onward Search is on the hunt for a Social Media Manager for a temp-to-hire position that starts immediately for our Ad Agency client.

You'll report to the Director of Digital and be responsible for leading social strategy, setting KPI's, defining social channels, concepts and working with the creative team on sophisticated social executions.

This is a client-facing role offering autonomy, specifically the freedom to run campaigns, lead, contribute and grow within the agency. Accounts include high-profile retail and QSR brands.


  • Work with an existing style guide and briefs from the client to create mood boards and visual cues to help define the creative vision of social campaigns.
  • Create the content calendars, social media channels based on brief and business objectives of the client.
  • Help with day-to-day execution of social ads.
  • Work w/ client to help answer questions and define social strategy.
  • Report on the analytics and results of campaigns to clients.
  • Help manage influencers.


  • 3-5 Years experience in Social Media with a preference for candidates who have worked for Ad Agencies.
  • Must be able to identify and have a right eye for what's cool and hip in social and be able to incorporate into campaigns.
  • Must have experience working with big brands and creating content and building robust content calendars for major social media platforms.
  • Must be an excellent communicator and be client-facing.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with functional teams.
  • Must be able to demonstrate success in leading previous social campaigns.
