Our top-tier media agency client is seeking a Supervisor, Paid Social for a temp assignment. You will be overseeing all aspects of paid social (planning, buying, execution) for a well-known automotive brand.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to set paid social strategies and develop appropriate media plans and campaigns across platforms including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, and Snapchat
  • Develop and present strategic media recommendations to agency management, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and rationale
  • During the planning phase, inform implementation of single and multi-variant tests to prove campaign performance
  • Manage daily paid social activity and ensure delivery to a that is cost effective and in line with business targets
  • Oversee client media budgets including monthly forecasting of spend, pacing, and efficient delivery
  • Optimization of bid strategies and A/B testing of creative, ad unit, and landing pages
  • Implement tracking pixels and ad trackers for 3rd party verification and fraud management needs
  • Implement 3rd party audiences as part of media buys, and evaluate & test new ad units & audiences
  • Provide reporting as needed through partners (Facebook/Twitter) or 3rd parties (Google Analytics, Omniture, Facebook FMPs, etc.)
  • Oversee QA checklists and adherence to brand guidelines (i.e. legal, privacy, content, etc.)

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience buying social media advertising
  • Strong quantitative skills, analytical abilities, and math proficiency
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of social media management tools & platforms (Unified, Brand Networks, Sprinklr, Spredfast, etc.),
  • Able to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
  • Great at relationship-building

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of all relevant social platform UIs and capabilities, relevant API management platforms, and strong knowledge of Tier II vendors and capabilities
  • Prior success using the most advanced targeting/retargeting tactics in social media to drive client objectives
  • Expert skill level in all social marketplace offerings and opportunities including all ad units, targeting options/providers ,and inventory sources
  • Completed partner training (Facebook Blueprint / Twitter Flight School)
  • Must have a viewpoint on how to architect budget/investment levels across the consumer journey, using multiple partner products
  • Experience working closely with media teams focused on TV & Display Buying, Strategic Planning & Intelligence, Analytics, Community Management, Content Development & Creative, Influencer Activation, Invention, and Marketplace Buying (i.e. Search)
