Awards Coordinator

Onward Search is seeking a Publicity Manager for a renowned leader in the tech industry. You will become a part of the Awards team, contributing to all stages of awards processes for substantial campaigns.

This is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity that is hybrid onsite in Los Angeles, CA.

As a Publicity Manager you’ll: 

• Work collaboratively with the awards team across all phases of awards processes.
• Secure press opportunities for filmmakers and talent.
• Contribute to the development of press materials, such as talking points and briefs.
• Coordinate and execute For Your Consideration (FYC) panels, screenings, and event opportunities with various guilds and organizations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with awards organizations, industry trades, and publications.
• Manage communication to external consultants and agencies for weekly team meetings.
• Coordinate interviews with talent across series and films as assigned.
• Handle various reports and communication to partners.
• Coordinate tables and tickets for all awards-related ceremonies and more!

Publicity Manager Skills & Experience needed:  

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 4 years of specialized experience in events related to awards for both film and series.
• Demonstrated strength in cultivating relationships within the press and awards communities.
• Exceptional time management skills, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Extensive experience in planning and executing events across a diverse range of content.
• In-depth understanding of industry trends and insights that influence awards voting.
• Robust capability to execute and oversee complex integrated campaigns.
