Our client, a CPG company located in El Segundo, is looking to hire a freelance Brand Marketing Associate for a 5+ month assignment that could extend. This person will work alongside the team’s Manager and Associate Marketing Manager, primarily focused on product development and marketing asset creation.


  • Work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager & Associate Marketing Manager to manage the product portfolio & marketing activations
  • Under the leadership of the Marketing Manager, work closely with cross-functional partners (product design, packaging, development, etc.) to help develop the product line, focusing primarily on maintaining development schedules and cost targets.
  • Assist with planning for global marketing assets including YouTube and social content, lifestyle photography, etc.
  • Monitor key trends, brands and competitors’ performance in all markets
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of global brand-building activities, development of global marketing tools and development of content with internal and external groups
  • Assist with the development of presentation materials for key partner meetings and internal meetings
  • Support with creation of line documentation (line lists, merchandising outlines, etc) as assigned
  • Manage product samples requests


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels
  • Must be comfortable presenting to large audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time management, planning, and project execution skills
  • Computer proficiency: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
