Our client, a video game company, is seeking a Content Strategist to join the esports digital team.
Assist the Head of Esports NA and the Head of Academy, Amateur & Scholastic in developing a strategy for content platforms including YouTube, Tik Tok, and more.
Clipping and uploading content during broadcasts and on a daily basis.
Work on a daily basis with the LCS and Path to LCS teams, social team, content team, talent team, and more on uploading content, clipping the best moments from the LCS and Path to LCS broadcasts, organizing and tagging content, and optimizing it for the appropriate channels and platforms
Concept, execute and be able to speak to a Content Strategy around our channels, in particular YouTube
Present for all LCS and Academy/Amateur/Proving Ground livestreams and events
Develop campaigns to grow engagement and report on campaign results
Understanding of content and channel analytics; able to generate insights
1-2 years working on digital video channels and platforms specifically YouTube
Tapped into the latest YouTube and viral content trends, cultural conversations, esports & trends
SEO, analytics, and channel optimization experience
Experience clipping from Twitch/YouTube and other channels
Experience building successful digital channel
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary for broadcasts
Ability to create and generate YouTube thumbnails; strong understanding of how titling, thumbnails and optimization can improve a video's performance
Expert in YouTube algorithms, thumbnails, channel organization and optimization
Gaming and esports community experience
Social media experience
Experience with different languages and cultures a plus
Experience working with streamers, YouTubers, influencers and/or relevant esports/gaming brands
