Onward Search is on the hunt for a Paid Social Strategist to help our top tier agency client.

Responsibilities:

  • Help oversee social media strategy planning and activation for entertainment networks and programming
  • Assist with planning paid buys on social platforms
  • Interface with other activation teams to ensure plan components across TV, OOH, Print, Audio, digital, etc. are positively impacted by an applied social sensibility
  • Help establish relationships with key social platforms and technologies to drive adoption of products, practices, and opportunities to support client objectives
  • Reporting on all client channels for delivery to internal and external partners
  • Track the progress of approvals, ATBs & IOs, final reports, etc.
  • Provide analysis to inform strategy and activation
  • Concept and implement original engagement tactics per existing strategy and creative direction
  • Keep current with new and emerging social media trends, platforms, vendors, and opportunities
  • Deliver on day-to-day campaign deliverables including brainstorming & strategy development, recommendations & proposals, pitches, communication to key partners/vendors, timeline management, action logs, & related process documents
  • Craft reports and final campaign analyses and speak to successes & learnings
  • Develop tactics to determine social media successes
  • Drive all partners to enhance earned media optimization and measurement approaches

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience in a related position or digital marketing role
  • Must have experience in entertainment, specifically theatrical
  • Working knowledge of social media management tools/platforms (Sprout Social, Curalate, etc.)
  • Able to demonstrate examples of selling through emerging concepts
  • Must be inclined to establish relationships and partnerships as opposed to vendor interactions
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information
