Our client, an integrated agency, is seeking a Video Editing Coordinator.

You will report to the Head of Editorial and be responsible for:

  • Coordinate the editorial department schedules and editors’ workflow processes and will serve as a facilitator between editors and producers
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Editorial and support to the Producing team
  • Monitor and track editors’ workflow to support editorial department needs
  • Plan and maintain editorial department calendar by keeping track of editors projects, editor availability
  • Schedule editorial time-off requests ensuring editorial coverage needs are met
  • Provide status reports on what editors are setting up
  • Schedule freelance editors based on department need
  • Assist with billing ensuring the accounting department receives needed billing information
  • Assist Head of Editorial with coordinating projects
  • Organize reels, create, and maintain editor schedules and calendars
  • Provide administrative support functions, conference call coordination, correspondence
  • Keep track and provide reminders of all commitments, meetings, and activities
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare documents
  • Implement new systems/procedures to improve and streamline processes as needed
  • Perform special projects as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in film, advertising/marketing from an accredited college or university
  • 2-3 year administrative experience working in the entertainment industry, ideally at a Post Production company
  • Must be detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and follow-through to meet deadlines and accomplish tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong customer service skills; friendly and approachable with a “can-do” attitude
  • Must be able to work well under time constraints
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
