Our client, a creative branding boutique, is seeking a Production Designer to join their team.
You will be responsible for:

  • Handle artwork adaptation, mechanical production, photo retouching/manipulation, and pre-press tasks
  • Focus on supporting the production and design teams in the course of their client-related tasks.
  • Learn the specifics of our clients, our business, and our process, and take direction regarding design intent from the design team and contribute technical and production related expertise.
  • Ensuring integrity of design intent throughout the production process adapting established packaging design to new sizes or variants
  • Working with design to choose and standardize inks and color builds for printing
  • Photo retouching, image manipulation, and product renders
  • Obtaining, understanding, and implementing print/production specifications for each job
  • Building final mechanical files for internal review and release to vendors
  • Verifying the accuracy of copy, regulated package elements, and legal mandatories
  • Proofreading and quality control review
  • Organizing and maintaining production files and master art as needed
  • Attending pre-production meetings


  • 3-5 years of experience doing hands-on packaging production in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in the latest versions of Mac and Adobe software strong skills in Adobe Illustrator with the ability to troubleshoot file issues, etc.
  • Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision
  • A deep understanding of the print process and technology is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication, excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • We are looking for candidates who have skills and a keen eye for design but are not looking for this to be a stepping stone to being a designer.
  • The ideal candidate is a versatile, proactive and self-motivated individual
