Our client in DOWNTOWN LA is looking for a HR BUSINESS ANALYST for a 5 month contract.

JOB DETAILS:

  • Interview subject matter experts to develop end to end understanding of HR processes
  • Create detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to provide a thorough understanding of all HR processes and how they connect
  • Review maps with subject matter experts to ensure detail and accuracy
  • Find and document "hidden processes" that are part of departmental tribal knowledge
  • Present and submit current state process maps to project management

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years working in an HR function required
  • Understanding core concepts of HR functions and processes
  • Gathering, assembling and interpreting information from multiple sources (including databases, interviews, etc.)
  • Ability to document organizational flowcharts and process maps
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to understand and explain complicated data, processes and analysis to those unfamiliar
  • Successfully present information and ideas through multiple communication channels (written, oral, formal presentation) including preparing reports, summaries, surveys and written communications to project management
  • Describe business solutions to technical audience and technical information to a business audience (adapting communication style)
  • Work with short deadlines and effectively manage priorities
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with internal customers and other HR professionals
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Visio
