Software Engineer (GAMES)

Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for a Software Engineer, Games to join the Games Studio team.

You will be responsible to:

• Designing, writing, testing and documenting code for best-in-class experiences in mobile gaming
• Work with designers and team leads to implement and iterate on new features
• Design and implement code on a variety of game systems, using skills and experience you have with gameplay, graphics and network programming
• Document your code, and follow programming standards and principles
• Rigorously test your code, and ensure that your code works and recovers even when the unexpected happens
• Prototype new ideas or concepts quickly, with the understanding that prototypes may sometimes be discarded and not make it into the final product

Musts:

• 7+ years experience with a MINIMUM of 2 in gaming
• Have ownership and pride in the parts of the game that you are familiar with. The code you write should be well-written and thought out, easy to read, and easy to work with
