Our client's UX team is seeking a UX RESEARCHER to step into the role of User Researcher and Conversion Optimization & User Research. This role is responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing and reporting on user-centric design research and usability testing. Specifically it is identifying user needs and goals, task and workflow modeling, performing rapid iterative usability testing and more in-depth testing.

SKILLS:

  • Work with minimal supervision on multiple projects
  • Showcase a quantitative grasp and understanding of different metrics
  • Passionate about analytics and able to provide insight into better understanding user behavior
  • Make recommendations to improve websites process flow
  • Solid understanding of traditional usability studies (one-on-one interviews, unmoderated testing, drawing from web metrics)
  • Analytical thinker who is results-oriented
  • Effective collaborator with stakeholders and peers
  • Able to conduct usability research in-lab, online and in field
  • Solid UX lifecycle solutioning (discovery, definition, design and optimization)
  • Serve as a repository of research-based usability knowledge
  • Work with team members to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods
  • Work with designers to test proposed look and feel initiatives
  • Understanding of ethnography and personas and their influence
  • Expert in one or more of these: in-field research, HCI, usability testing, participatory design, in-production a/b testing, expert evaluation, web data analytics

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiar with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Min of 2-3 yrs leading and conducting user research studies
  • Preferred 4+ years leading and conducing user research studies in interactive/digital marketing, testing and influencing user experience on consumer-facing, heavy transactional products within a large organization
  • BA or advanced certification in user research testing and analysis
