Our client, a top electronics company, is looking for a Lumapps Web Designer for a 6 month contract for a company wide transformation project focusing on employees personal development.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Will be responsible for working with the Design, web analytics and creative teams to define, plan, design and test human centric digital experiences.

You'll be spending some quality time with sketch and photoshop, but you’ll also be getting your hands dirty authoring pages in Lumapps, reviewing analytics and optimizing pages on the fly. Day to day, your role will include:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Design team
  • Building from scratch the entire Design Team's online platform on Lumapps
  • Distill complex problems into simple and engaging digital human experiences
  • Communicating your design ideas through sketches and wireframes
  • Constructing information architecture, interaction models, user flows, schematics, and visual designs
  • Optimizing your prototypes and designs through analytics and user testing
  • Creating graphics and authoring pages in AEM
  • Partnering with external partners and content strategists to ensure that copy and art direction work together to tell compelling communication assets
  • Working on self-guided projects within a fast-paced environment
  • Contributing to the constant evolution of the digital properties

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:

  • A portfolio of strong visual and interaction design work
  • Ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows, storyboards, and mockups
  • A passion for emerging technologies and the ability to translate that passion into workable solutions to business challenges
  • Ability to examine ideas and challenges in order to provide best practice solutions
  • Expertise in Lumapps, Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiarity with coding and/or understanding of architecture for web and mobile experiences (JavaScript/CSS/HTML etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of responsive design, motion design and typography
  • Strong team skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • A sense of humor and an open and curious mind
