Onward Search is seeking a Manager of Marketing Operations to join our cannabis client for a full-time opportunity.
You will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations and will lead marketing campaign budgeting, vendor and contract management and planning of technology solutions. The Manager, Marketing Operations will focus on the continuous improvement and ongoing success of all marketing programs.
Provides support to the Sr. Director, Marketing Operations in leading overall marketing strategy planning and efficiency.
Drives continuous efficiency and improvement within the marketing organization and expands personnel capabilities through on-going training and development programs.
Provides support for the automation and streamlining of marketing operation processes.
Establishes operational processes and manages workflow.
Provides leadership and support to programs and campaigns resulting in more efficient program process and project outcomes.
Maintains detailed plans for important campaign programs, reporting dashboards, workflow tools, documentation, and tracking.
Leads marketing vendor management by identifying, selecting, engaging and managing vendor relationships and works closely with these organizations to review and approve marketing tools.
Plays a lead role in financial and budgeting efforts and collaborates with Finance to determine budgetary allocations and approaches for the department.
Manages day to day budget and invoice process with Marketing and Creative team.
Manages and oversees the contract and NDA process in collaboration with the Legal team.
Bachelor’s Degree required, equivalent working experience acceptable.
3 years' experience working in a managerial marketing position in a complex, fast-paced and competitive environment.
Experience in project management and program improvement, constructing plans that incorporate an understanding of critical marketing paths and task dependencies.
Proficiency in marketing automation and marketing financial analysis tools as well as all MS Office solutions.
Must be able to convey complex messages in clear, simple, and convincing manner.
Must have the unique ability to effectively interact with and relate to people at all levels of the organization to move and influence the team into a common direction and vision.
Candidate must be a self-starter, be self-motivated and inspire the same across the marketing organization.
Flexibility to work in a collaborative structure and ability to work across various departments and functions.
