Marketing Communications Specialist

Onward Search needs a Marketing Communications Specialist for a Financial Services client.

 
You’ll join a marketing team to manage account service communications, the communications specialist creates a range of well-crafted, concise, and captivating communication materials to back a company-wide initiative. Prioritizing the delivery of impactful, pertinent, and audience-centered messages, the communications specialist collaborates across various platforms, engaging with a network of stakeholders and project collaborators to advocate for engaging communications throughout the project process. This is accomplished while managing the demands of the business, adhering to audit controls, and meeting stringent deadlines.
 
This is a 6-month project opportunity working on a remote basis.  Considering candidates located in the U.S.  No C2C candidates.

Pay rate range: $25 - $30 hourly (W-2).
 
 
As a Marketing Communications Specialist you’ll: 

• Manage the creative development process to meet the communication needs of Business, Technology, and Marketing stakeholders.
• Implements long-term communication strategies that align with annual objectives, product roadmaps, and extended project implementations.
• Generates concise and well-structured written and spoken communications, tailoring messages to suit various target audiences.
• Guarantees the quality and timeliness of business outcomes.
• Collaborates with Project Managers to monitor essential inputs and outputs essential for request execution.
• Actively seeks opportunities to enhance content, messaging, and delivery methods.

• 3 to 6 years of experience within the financial services sector, coupled with expertise in Integrated Marketing and/or communication management.
• Demonstrates robust written and oral communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid grasp of project management.
• Exhibits proficiency in harnessing diverse channels to enhance the impact of communications.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, adept at meeting tight or evolving deadlines and effective prioritization.
• Radiates enthusiasm while fostering a top-tier client experience and a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Equally comfortable working independently to drive business results.
• Serves as a critical thinker who can comprehend, dissect, and analyze information, offers sustainable solutions, and is unafraid to challenge conventions while making recommendations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Experience with Persado, Movable Ink, Axios HQ, or other content optimization tools is highly desirable.
