Our client, a major entertainment studio, is seeking an Marketing Coordinator to join the entertainment team.

You will report to the Director, Marketing Planning & Strategy and be responsible for:

  • Support the Marketing Strategy team in coordination of strategic marketing & planning initiatives, and in the development of planning processes
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate strategic planning information in customized online planning and archiving database
  • Verify and disseminate the latest Programming bookings to Marketing team, updating Strategy’s planning database while ensuring Marketing plans are aligned with the correct airing of episodes
  • Assist with planning, copy-writing and ordering all secondary elements, coordinating Strategy’s plan with Network Media, Design, and production teams at Prospect to ensure the correct messaging is placed across all platforms.
  • Capture on-air and off-air marketing tactics across all media for Late Night and Daytime planning
  • Coordinate Partnerships/Synergy/Franchise planned efforts, working with that team to ensure work orders are made in a timely manner with all necessary details provided to production team
  • General project management, assistance in the creation of marketing campaign decks in Keynote and PowerPoint, brainstorm preparation and meeting coordination.
  • Organize, prepare recap notes and provide campaign execution support as needed.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners.
  • General administrative duties; prepare competitive/marketplace research presentations, invoice processing, set up meetings


  • Background in marketing/promo of tv shows since candidates will need to understand terminology
  • 1-2 years experience in a marketing/advertising type of function in the entertainment business such as television or film
  • Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, must be able to handle a high volume of info
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment staying cool under pressure
  • Technical expertise in setting up a conference room – i.e. print materials, presentation set-up, conference call set-up
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Refined social skills with the ability to work with varying personalities and communication styles
  • Above average knowledge of Entertainment Brands and familiar with the latest social media and pop culture trends
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to contribute ideas to the team


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
